Thomas Murmylo

Thomas started his higher education in Poland, and after coming to Australia he graduated from University of Sydney with a Master in International Tax Law. Before setting up Business Tax & Money House, Tom for many years has been gaining practical experience in other Australian companies specialising in tax consultancy. His international knowledge and experience gives him a broad perspective while delivering his professional service to clients. He has helped many local and international businesses to grow and prosper in Australia, always looking for innovations and best solutions improving quality and reducing taxes.

Karolina Palkovics

Karolina is a Certified Practising Accountant and holds her Master in Accounting from Victoria University. After completing several accounting courses and gaining experience in Australia, in 2013 she joined BTMH and since then she has been providing our clients with her professional service. Karolina is truly passionate about accounting, she is highly specialised in a wide range of matters: preparation of financial statements and tax returns, tax advice, Self Managed Superannuation Funds, and beyond.

Tom York OAM

Tom started his accounting and taxation career in February 1966 when he joined the Australian Taxation Office. During his 20 years with the Taxation Department, as it was then known, Tom progressed from clerical duties to being an assessor of individual, partnership, trust and company income tax returns. From the assessing branch, Tom was promoted to the investigation section and at the time of leaving the taxation office, he reached the position of senior taxation investigator. Whilst working for the Taxation Office, Tom was also a part time lecturer for ten years, teaching various accounting and taxation courses at TAFE. After leaving the Taxation Office, Tom has established a very successful practice in Bondi Junction together with his long time business partner and fellow BTMH employee David Lipson. After selling his practice, Tom decided to retire, but that was short lived and six years ago, Tom joined BTMH as a senior accountant. After fifty eight years of working in the accounting and taxation area, Tom has gained a lot of experience and enjoys working with his clients. Outside of work, Tom loves travelling, playing basketball, dancing, walking and generally keeping fit.

Dagmara Czubak

Dagmara is a skilled Tax Accountant with a Master's degree in Accounting from King's Own Institute. Having completed the Tax Institute's Tax Agent Programme, she developed a strong expertise in tax matters. She has been a vital part of BTMH since 2018, excelling as a tax consultant and accountant. Her skills have been further enhanced by her valuable experience as a financial officer during her secondment experience. Dagmara's true passion lies in tax consulting, where she actively shares her knowledge with clients and colleagues. As the moderator of tax meetings and an avid participant in webinars and presentations, she stays on the forefront of industry trends, ensuring our clients receive top-notch services. After travelling around Australia, she has settled (for now) in Perth and works for BTMH remotely.

Dorota Bondaruk

Dorota is a specialist in Accounting & Office Management with extensive experience in Logistics and Internal Auditing according to ISO (9001:2015, 14001:2015, 16949:2009). Dorota holds a Bachelor of Science in Logistics from the University of Technology in Bialystok, Poland. She finished her masters program in Economics and Finance, and she has further expanded her expertise by completing courses in Accounting and Enterprise Resource Planning after arriving in Australia. Our clients often praise Dorota for her customer-centric approach, displaying strong empathy and a proactive attitude. She takes great pride in providing exceptional service and ensuring our clients' needs are met with the utmost care. In her free time, Dorota likes to discover the hidden gems of New South Wales, accompanied by her adorable bichoodle dog. Dorota is a member of the National Tax & Accountants’ Association.

Alla Bas

Alla is an experienced Tax Accountant at Business Tax & Money House, where she has been supporting clients with tax and accounting matters for over five years. She is valued for her precision, clear communication, and dedication to delivering high-quality service. Her background combines strong skills in accounting, finance, administration, and client support. With a sharp eye for detail and a calm, professional approach, Alla helps clients feel confident and well-informed throughout every step of the process. Alla holds a Master’s degree in Accounting from Torrens University Australia, and a Master’s in Accounting and Finance from Kozminski University in Poland. She is fluent in Polish, English, and Ukrainian, allowing her to easily connect with clients from a wide range of backgrounds. In her downtime, Alla enjoys spending time with friends, going to the cinema, travelling, and discovering hidden gems around the city.
